Saturday Mornings at the Market
Bustling with people picking out the ripest peaches or ordering a pound of cherries, the Soulard Farmers Market is packed on Saturday mornings. Open year round, the market offers everything from fresh Missouri grown fruit and handmade pasta to mounds of bacon and bright sunflowers. Strolling down the vendor lined isles, you can hear the soft finger picking of a banjo, as men sit outside playing their instuments. This might be one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning; with a cup of coffee in one hand and my canvas bag in the other - ready to fill.
