At the Drive-In
Soaking up American past times, some friends and I drove over to Belleville, IL to see our first flick at the drive-in. We spent a hot summer night sitting in front of a giant screen, listening to the car radio blast out the movie sound. Aside from the movie being a double feature, the best part was being able to bring in snacks – we packed a serious picnic of gummy bears, crunchers, chocolate, popcorn, and milk duds! And instead of sitting in the car all evening, we set up in front of it with comfy chairs and such. As for the movie, we saw Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, and loved every bit of it’s ridiculousness.

Isn’t this drive-in the best? I went there for the first time a few weeks ago and fell in love! (BTW, I doubt you’ll remember, but this is Megan, the girl who stopped to say ‘hello’ a couple weeks ago while you were shooting outside of Taste)
Megan! Of course I remember – that made my day.
And the drive-in really is great. I love the double feature action!
Glad I could brighten your day! Love your blog, congrats on the anniversary and hope to see lots more from you!
