wear it // eleven

It’s no secret that I adore a dapper man in a bow tie – ahem, Nick & Jack. In fact, I am sure there is a very large percentage of the population who enjoy a dapper man in a bow tie. But why should men be the only ones who get to wear this particular neck adornment? Bows are bows.  So, I decided to be someone who would take a chance with style and wear a bow tie. Picking a feminine blouse – sheer and polka-dotted – I tied on the (also polka-dotted) bow tie. Tying said bow tie was a lot trickier than I thought it’d be, but with a few pointers from Dad and a couple YouTube videos, I had it down after three attempts! Women have been rocking menswear for decades - I just added a twist. And, as the Doctor says, “Bow ties are cool.”
